Mounjaro KwikPen

The Mounjaro KwikPen comes in six different doses (2.5 / 5 / 7.5 / 10 / 12.5 / 15 mg). You can turn each pen in half-dose steps. The tables below show how many "clicks" match which dose for each pen type.

— Things to keep in mind

Shelf life of
the Mounjaro pen.

One important thing to keep in mind when using a click schedule is the shelf life of Mounjaro after opening. Once the pen has been used for the first time, it lasts 30 days, as long as you keep it at room temperature below 30 °C.

If you use a click table, the pen is usually used longer than this recommended period. That can reduce how well the medication works. So it's essential to follow the official dosing instructions from the manufacturer Eli Lilly, and only use this click schedule after talking to your doctor.

Responsibility & safety

Using a click table is entirely at your own risk. At Lunaris Clinics we always recommend following the manufacturer's guidelines to avoid mistakes and a weaker effect of the medication.

Shelf life

Keep in mind that a Mounjaro pen lasts a maximum of 30 days after opening, if stored below 30 °C. Using a click table means you go beyond this period, which can affect the quality of the medication.

Temporary solution

A click table should only be used as a temporary solution — for example when your usual pen isn't available, or when a lower dose is needed because of side effects. And this should always happen in consultation with your doctor.
