A new approach for people who need help with weight.
At Lunaris Clinics we believe losing weight is more than a number on the scale. It's about how you feel, how you live, how you decide what ends up on your plate — and what kind of support you get along the way. That's why we built a clinic where medication, lifestyle and human guidance sit under one roof.
Our GP assesses whether a GLP-1/GIP journey is right for you. Our coach helps with behaviour change using the Blauwprint method. Our dietitian translates that into what you actually eat, on a quiet evening, in a busy week, on holiday. No apps, no AI coaches, no button-trajectories — just a team of four people, across seven locations in the Netherlands.
We chose Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) as our primary medication — not as a fad, but because the science shows it gives the best results. Read more on the science page or in the next article below.

20% versus 14% — what SURMOUNT-5 tells us.
In May 2025 the New England Journal of Medicine published the results of SURMOUNT-5: the first major head-to-head comparison between the two most-used GLP-1 medications for weight loss, Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®) and Semaglutide (Wegovy®). 751 adults with obesity, 72 weeks of treatment, one clear conclusion.
The difference is bigger than many people think. Tirzepatide produced an average of ~20.2% weight loss, Semaglutide ~13.7%. On a starting weight of around 113 kg that's roughly 7 kg of additional weight loss. On top of that, fewer people stopped Tirzepatide because of side effects — meaning that for many people it's not only more effective but also better tolerated.
For us this isn't an abstract statistic. It's the reason our GP prescribes Tirzepatide first. Not because it's hipper, but because for the same effort it delivers more — and with the same dose ramp-up it's better tolerated.

The Lunaris-mobile.
This spring she hit the road — our bronze-with-cream Lunaris-mobile. Used to move between locations, for PR moments, for the occasional home visit when a patient can't make it to the clinic for medical reasons. And, not unimportantly: just to show we're around.
The car is a Fiat Topolino — small, electric, perfect for inner-city locations and short drives across Het Gooi. The lettering was designed in-house: a small homage to the same editorial typography you see on the website and in the patient brochures. Spotted her? Snap a photo and tag @lunarisclinics — we love re-sharing.
